Hotel nah an der Mexikanischen Grenze unmittelbar neben der Autobahn. Das Frühstück war ein Schock.Styroporteller und Becher wie in einem Entwicklungsland.Alle Speisen und Getränke waren unterste Qualität, sodass wir am zweiten Tag darauf verzichtet haben.Aber was diese great Nation für Müllvermeidung tut,ist armselig.

After a long stay in LA, both my best friend and I were longing for a quiet, lovely, and cozy room to spend the final days of our trip. And that's exactly what Hotel Baja San Diego offered us. We instantly fell in love with the warm welcome that we received at the reception and our room, one that felt more like a home than all of those minimalist rooms we had stayed before during that week.

Even if there were some small issues that we ran across, that can be mainly attributed to how costly the maintenance of such a peculiar building might be, we were delighted at our stay as we understood that the staff is always working hard to keep the hotel at its best and we're sure that they will be fixed by the next time we stay at the hotel, as we're planning to return in a future trip due to its convenient location nearby CBX and Las Americas Mall, not to mention the big amount of restaurants just across the street. Maybe next time we will be able to try the breakfast, which we have heard it's amazing.

We would also like to thank the staff, because the first room we got had an issue with its security lock so we were shortly and promptly assigned a new room that we enjoyed a lot. Even if the hotel hosts long term guests, we never felt insecure in the building and didn't hear any strange noises at night.

This hotel may be the most unique and attractive hotel I've been to. It's got so much charm and character. The owner decorates each room in a unique way from every other room and they are clean, comfortable and with great amenities. Not to mention it's one of the cheapest hotels in one of the most expensive cities. The staff is wonderful and breakfast is included in your stay. I can't recommend this place enough

It was interesting. The rooms were homey with decor, etc... this is one of those places where naps aren't easily taken. Blowers, mopping, housekeepers shouting to communicate. Vacuuming with other room doors open. Closing them would minimize the noise. One thing that's cool is there is a community kitchen to prepare and cook your own food. There is a two or three hour window for breakfast. The breakfast attendant was intrusive. She designates 1 boiled egg to each guest. She wouldn't just set them out. When I wanted to use the waffle maker, she was controlling about that too. She did all the steps for me as if I've never used one before. She sat across the room and stared at us as we ate. It was awkward. Taking breakfast up to your room is not allowed. Very weird.

Terrible hotel. Worst hotel I have ever been to in my entire life, not even worth a buck of my penny. They ruined my vacation, and I will never return. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

1. Roaches right next to our bed.
2. Someone tried to open my room while we were inside.
3. Smelly room and smelly AC. Front desk blamed it for the polluted ocean water from Tjuanna, Mexico.
4. Noise from freeway was unbearable
5. Front desk and Manager will not listen to your problem, just try to get your money! Hang up the phone rudely and yell at you.

Please save your money and go to a different hotel. We book there 2 nights because of the good reviews and it turned out like a nightmare here. We couldnt sleep at all the whole night so we gave them the key back because we dont want that room anymore. Ask for refund or at least a better room, they couldnt do anything until the next day, which was too late. They promised to call us but never did, and when we called them, they refused to help. We had to book another hotel. The next day, they blamed us and falsely claimed they had offered an upgraded room, denying our refund request. They refused to check security footage and hung up on us multiple times. Their customer service was rude and unhelpful. Do not book this hotel; they won't refund you and will ruin your time and your vacation. To be honest, this hotel does not even worth my 1-star, because there is nothing good about it. Please DO NOT TRUST the good reviews and their room picture!

I got this place at the end of my 12 days trip on CA. I stayed at Anaheim, Santa Barbara, San Simeone,San Jose, Sacramento, and by Monterrey. And only this place out of all, caused an impression once I stepped into the room.its being decorated with taste and sweetness, It feels warm and cozy, it's not by the beach, it's not with a mountain view, it just a cozy warm place, the feels like being back home that once you have to hit the road again, I warranty you, you will feel rested.

I really like it so much! The rooms are so pretty. The shower super cool! Everything in the room 10/10. It has buffet everthing was so yummy! It’s the best hotel! The spot in San Diego so cool!

I was in town for my brother's Graduation, Miss Amalia gave my family a tour of vacancies and allowed us to choose signature rooms. Each one had a theme, the garden adornment outside made the family stay feel like home. Shopping was near buy, with easy access to San Diego, East County, Otay, Tecate and Tijuana.

This location had customized rooms to sleep upto 7!
