What an amazing experience my husband and I just had at The Wildset Hotel. When you first enter the hotel, you are greeted by the very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfy and I LOVE the farmhouse style in which the hotel has been designed/decorated. The restaurant in the hotel (Ruse) has some really awesome food and our server (Patricia) was perfect!! We will definitely be returning to St. Michaels and staying at The Wildset Hotel!! Thank you for making our weekend so memorable!!

Had a wonderful anniversary getaway to the Wild Set in St. Michael's. Perfect location, beautiful and clean rooms with lots of extra touches. Room very spacious, modern amenities, comfortable and classy! Loved the complimentary bikes for exploring the area. Dinner at Ruse was a Michelin worthy experience. Highly recommend. We can't wait to return. Many thanks to property director and GM Brian who made our special getaway an amazing one!

We came for a wedding. The beds are comfy, the room was quiet, the shower was lovely, and the breakfast was nice. It's an interesting setup - the hotel has a main building with the store, check in desk and restaurant; then it has a couple of satellite buildings across the street. We stayed in the black building across the street. That was the only part of the stay that was a little confusing - we pulled into the parking lot at the main building but didn't realize our room would be across the street, and so I brought my luggage into the main building and then had to bring it back to the car once we found our room. But the stay was nice enough for that not to bother me. |They have a noise machine in the room which was a nice touch. The shower and toilet is also separate from the sink which made for ease of getting ready. They have lawn games and some fire pits that are cute an add ambiance. Loved this place! I only wish they had more locations!

The Wildset is a fine, central option when staying in St. Michael's. It's minimalist-chic with a sort of rustic feel as well. Some of the staff are friendly, some are not. The main building is cute, with a lovely sundry shop and the hotel's restaurant, Ruse. ||We stayed in the building across the street. The room was fine, albeit small. I think I was expecting it to be more luxe. I really enjoyed the shower and the fireplace, which they had just turned on for the season. We noticed the vents were dirty and the filters needed cleaning, so even though everything else appeared clean, who knows what else they are missing. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. I appreciated the snacks and water. ||There was no sound proofing in the building, as I could hear doors slamming and conversations all night. And, a staff member walked into our room as we were getting settled. I definitely used my door jammer/alarm that night, because that was not good. The door didn't have an internal latch, peep hole, or do not disturb sign. However, this building was only accessible by keycard, which was good.||Breakfast is included. There are pastry, granola, and yogurt options, plus coffee (they use Ceremony) and juice. I loved the savory biscuit, but get there early for that. ||I'd return, though I'd book a better room class than standard king, and perhaps that would improve my experience. However, my partner would not return. I hope they act upon their areas of improvement.

Just returned from a much needed getaway at The Wildset in St. Michaels, MD. Charming, well appointed hotel. Very elegant and design focused, but also very simple furnishings. The front desk staff are amazingly knowledgeable and very occamodating. We checked in sligtly early - which was not a problem. The rooms are not that large - one king bed with a shower. We had a balcony that overlooked the main road. My one complaint about the room was that the windows need black out shades as it is very bright and the blinds don't really block out the sun. Some of the rooms have fireplaces and small refrigerators. Comfy bed and sheets. It would have been nice to have a headboard, but we still slept well.|Dinner at RUSE was exceptional. Everythig we ate was outstanding. The service was top notch. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening.|As it was our anniversary they were incredibly kind and gave us a complimentary starter.|We had smores at the firepit, went for a bike ride and enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning. Wildset goes above and beyond and they make their guests feel very special!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wildset. |There were several buildings. We were across the street from the main building.|Right on St. Michael's Main Street.|Check in was fast and glitches were handled graciously.|| Our room was spacy and comfortable as were our beds.||We had parking behind our building.|All the staff were helpful and welcoming. ||Breakfast was an elegant Brunch. Juice, chive scones, croissants, yogurt, granola… and “Kuku Eggs.” Yes. Kuku eggs, related to many nations – Persian, French and my Italian mother’s sausage and egg pie. Brught back special memories.||I did comment to them that a bar in the shower would be a helpful safety precaution.

I booked 14 rooms for our company outing in August and we all were extremely pleased with our stay. Veronica was very accommodating with requests and changes made while coordinating our event. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the property was tremendous...we especially loved the gas firepit out back each night! The owners have put so much thought into every aspect of the hotel and we could not have been happier with our stay. Staff members were warm, friendly and helpful. They even provide noise machines in case your neighbor likes to sleep with the tv on all night, LOL. Greatly appreciated the 11 am checkout time too. I could go on, but simply put, I will look forward to another opportunity to stay at this lovely hotel.

PHENOMENAL! exceptional experience from the moment we checked in through check out. The staff was attentive, response, friendly, and kind. The rooms and houses/hotels were updated, spacious, and well maintained. We enjoyed being walking distance from most businesses, and the convenience of the Ruse on-site(great food and service). We brought our furbaby and loved her welcome treat bag. I highly recommend The Wildset and look forward to returning.
