Extremely egotistical!
As someone who has worked with Student doctors of Osteopath for 17 years, Dr John Im lacks Empathy, ”Active”Listening skills, any kind of Humanistic behavior that would warrant anyone even remotely returning or trusting this doctors advice!
Especially when he said to me about another urgent care I had been to a few years ago “ they’re “PA’s” there good , But I’m a DOCTOR as he proceeded to grab a hold of his shirt as to say look at me, ? I’ve had more schooling then they had. But they’re good!
Then when I told him I had the tail of my pancreas removed and spleen , he replied with oh the whipple , I said nothing because that’s when I realized he didn’t know anything but was trying to show me he did? But that was NOT the whipple procedure.
Said my blood sugar was good at 125, I said no anything under 100 is good, he said no that’s a good blood sugar! I again said no it isn’t, he said what did you eat today ? I said nothing, so my fasting blood sugar should be at least 99
One last thing- You walk in it’s so
nice, they have Christian music playing, Bible verses on the walls, I thought oh wonderful, then you go in and see the doctor- he isn’t filled with the spirit , he is filled with himself! Extremely deceiving

I visited Dr. John Im at “Exceptional Urgent Care” and was blown away with how efficient, professional and compassionate the entire staff was. I was hesitant about going to an urgent care from previous experience; however, if I ever need one again, I will only go to see Dr. Im at “Exceptional Urgent Care”. Exceptional care is exactly what you will get from Dr. Im and his entire staff.

Dr. John Im cured me of a bronchial infection when two other clinics were unable to do so and the hospital Emergency Doctor also misdiagnosed my illness. Dr. John Im, looked at the MRI of my lungs examined my body, immediately located the infection and prescribed the proper medication and cured my illness. . Dr. John Im is a highly trained emergency medicine physician. Thus, he is the absolute best choice for urgent care because you get to see a doctor not a provider. Also, Dr. John Im. sincerely cares about you and will take time to make sure you get the proper treatment you need to recover. Simply stated, I would never choose a urgent care clinic with a PA or a general M.D. over Dr. John Im, a highly trained board certified emergency room physician.

Additionally, this Dr. John Im. really cares and is very intelligent and thus properly treats your illness on the first visit. I would trust my family to Dr. John Im. He is the best and the kindest and most caring.

I dislocated a pinky and tore the skin. John stitched it, got xrays and set it. I went to a hand therapist and they said the set was perfect and I would have full range of motion. It has healed perfectly. I have friends that had it happen and their finger only bends partway. Great staff as well.

Added 7/25/17: Recently, Dr. Im's sister, also a doctor, saved my life on a Saturday afternoon. I was shaking intensely with a fever of 103.7 degrees and, as was learned later, was suffering from a severe Clostridium difficile
infection with concurrent severe vomiting and diarrhea. I was admitted immediately for treatment (IV, shots). An ambulance was summoned and I spent 7 days in the hospital recovering.
