Excellent staff that is very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Great view of the lake and only a short walk to the beach. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.
The hotel manager who was working the front desk insisted on speaking in English as my brother doesn't speak the German language and wanted to make sure he also understood everything that was being explained.
Absolutely loved the stay and will definitely be going back in the future.

Room 401 was great. Large rooms and renovated - quite modern. Nice enclosed balcony off room. A very comfortable bed. Helpful owners especially Ernst!! Extremely good and large breakfast with a very good selection. Wonderful coffee machine. Super private parking. Minibar in room with reasonable price. Wanted to stay longer however they were full. Highly recommended and we would stay there again without hesitation. Near train station and a fairly busy road but we did not hear any noise. Close to small downtown area and restaurants. Wifi worked pretty good.

Clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet. Great location with helpful friendly staff. Our room provided a wonderful view of the lake. Especially appreciated the air conditioning as the day was hot. Excellent bike storage facility. Would not hesitate to recommend or return.

Radolfzell is a small town so there aren't a lot of hotels and restaurants. Hotel Zur Schmeide was very good as the room was large and the bathroom had everything you needed. It's not fancy but it's definitely nice. The breakfast was quite large and varied. The hotel is also located close to several restaurants and the historic part of town - within 5 minutes walk. Overall, this is a very nice establishment in a good location. If you're driving, there's also parking on site.||||Eating tip - Walk (3 minutes) to restaurant Omas Küche im Liesele for a good authentic German meal. They have English menus also.

Good Hotel facing famous Lake Constance and few minutes walk to the main line train station.shopping close with shops, restaurants and bars. Rooms are nice and compact and clean

This hotel is near to Bahnhof and opposite to rhine river... staff is very nice and can easily communicate in German and English.
Price is on fine range and there is also Minibar available in the room. The breakfast has enough options. My room was last in the corner and it had balcony as well which was very well insulated from cold air. The room has almost all required things. The hotel is very close to main market as well which is just on 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel's main entrance gets closed at 10 pm and then the only option to reach your room is back door entry which only opens with your room access key card. I am not sure if one is returning from party and drunk and may have lost his card, how that person would contact hotel staff. Overall location is really nice and city is also very nice.

Nice hotel. Friendly staffs. Very good breakfast. Parking is easy. Near the bahnhof to go to Konstanz. Hotel will give you the ticket for the public transportation in some zone near Konstanz, but you can go there by S6.
