Could benefit from a renovation but mattresses are new. (Slight moldy smell in the hallway next to the front desk)
Wifi is unfortunately quite unstable (poor latency and connection), but Mobile network reception (5G) is excellent in the rooms.
Rooms are very quite rooms.
Key system is outdated But works (bowl bunch with big, heavy key holder. Hard to manage to unlock electricity for the rooms, but it works with all plastic cards. Just leave the room card in the key chain and use any other plastic card)
Water pressire is amazing, hot water might run low late morning)
Beds where not made often and glasses/instant coffe was refilled upon request. Towels are exchanged if left on the floor, otherwise stay. But bathroom, floors and surfaces where cleaned spotless every day. (Tested with UV light and sticky Strips).
Lighting in the rooms is quite poor, check your shaving/makeup twice (flashlight did the trick for me) But the windows are huge (lots of light, depending on direction of your room) The view is boring, but the surroubdings are maintained well. Curtains and roller shutters are silent and easy to manage.
The rooms have a well cleaned mini fridge (easy to manage)
Breakfast has low Buffet selection but high quality and nice taste. Staff will extend the selection of breakfast (especially drinks/juice) upon request. Coffee is excellent and served upond request to your table. The restaurant is clean and food is fresh.
Location is okay, surrounding shops will close early. --> Heidelberg is 15 minuutes by car for longer opening hours)

Staff is very friendly and helpful, great service mindset and customer care! Specifically in the restaurant and at the front desk.
Can absolutely recommend! Prices are an absolute steal for excellent hygiene, service and high quality Breakfast.
-could not test the TV, laundry service, dinner options and the public indoor pool in the same building

Wonderful experience, thank you! Very private and quiet, the staff was very kind, the room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of good quality options. We also enjoyed the garden. In the past 4 years, we have really been traveling a lot and this has been the best hotel experience we have had in a long while. For us, it was just a one night stop on our way to Belgium, but we hope to come back. Heartfelt congratulations to the family managing this hotel!

Pro: spacious room, free parking, friendly staff. Reasonably extensive breakfast. At 100 m from the hotel you could take the direct tram (no. 23) to Heidelberg center.|Tip: buy your tickets (round-trip) in Leimen (2.60 euros pp) instead of on return in Heidelberg (3.20 euros pp). Recreational area with open-air swimming pool just next to the hotel (entrance 4 euros per person).||Con: very warm in the room and no air conditioning, but a fan is available. This hotel needs a serious update, and I am talking about the carpet that needs to be replaced, the walls need a lick of paint and the garden needs to be cleaned etc...

The hotel itself is ok. Enough space for two travelers and suitcases.
But the front desk is not so friendly. During check-out, a lady insisted that we didn’t pay the room bill. But we actually did. After showing her our Booking.com app record, which shows we’ve already paid for the room. She still insisted we need to pay for the room, again. Since she didn’t see the record at her side. So, we called booking.com London office and let them to talk to the lady. After a while, the lady said she now see the room has been paid. But without any apologies, not even a smile. The whole process took around 40 minutes, and we didn’t see the lady try to help to connect with 3rd party to confirm.

We received a warm welcome after a long drive. Hotel rooms are of a good standard and very clean. Wifi is free but is intermittent if your room is at the end of the corridor, but this is really only a minor issue. Breakfast is good and plenty of it (very useful if you have 2 sons who will eat for hours if given the chance!). Family style restaurant next door is okay if you're happy to have standard grill type food (massive portions), but it's not haute cuisine! Hotel is close to Heidelberg and I would recommend it to anyone visiting there or surrounding area. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stay here.

Set in a parkland area at the edge of town next to a sporting complex which houses restaurants (not well reviewed). Our room was above average size, clean & tidy and well appointed.||It’s a 5 minute walk to the tram stop for Heidelberg or a 10 minute walk into town which suited us. There is a lift. Staff are friendly. We didn’t try breakfast but the dining room looked nice. Recommended.

Privately owned. An absolutely wonderful owner couple!! While not an attractive hotel on the outside - appearances are very deceiving!! This a wonderfully decorated and pleasant hotel. Very modern. We would highly recommend staying here. Great base to explore Heidelberg! There is a non attached restaurant on site. Breakfast must be pre booked at 12€. ||Highly recommend.

The breakfast is good, the rooms are big and clean, the bathrooms have everything you need ... shampoo, gel and toothpaste with brush.

The checkin service out of hours are very well explained so you do not stay out of the hotel. There is a very large parking lot just in front if there is no space in front of it.
